THE MONSTER GUIDE

Monsters play a key role in the world of Rune Factory. Not only do you get stronger by fighting them and sending them back to the Forest of Beginnings, they can also be tamed in order to get produce items, as well as being a big help in keeping your farm nice and neat. The most important thing to remember about taming these beasts, is that you have to give them items and/or food to raise their friendship level, though it is nearly impossible to do so if they are a few levels higher than you. In order to tame a monster, you must have a Monster Barn built on your property, that way they have a place to live. You can have up to four monsters in each room as you expand your Monster Barn, and you need a Fodder Bin in order to feed them daily, as well as a Brush to keep them clean and healthy. Another perk of having a monster is that you'll be able to ride them, if they are big enough in size.
