AN AU RUNE FACTORY 4 ROLEPLAY

It has been at least a decade since Ethelberd's plans had been thwarted, and Ventuswill had been saved from the Forest of Beginnings. Now a whole new era of peace has begun in the town of Selphia. Having reached a friendly treaty with the Sechs Empire, things had been starting to look up. However, there are many individuals of the Sechs Empire that still hold a grudge again the town of Selphia for losing their leader. Those who supported their former emperor formed a rebel group, in hopes of making the people of Selphia suffer. Having sensed this, Ventuswill took it upon herself to form a group of her own, one that would defend Selphia and keep the peace by stopping the forming rebellion of the Sechs Empire.

Savatage had thought about making a rock opera after their successful collaboration with producer Paul O'Neill in making Hall of the Mountain King. During the recording of its follow-up in 1989, guitarist Criss Oliva found a play and accompanying music written by Paul O'Neill, which the band intended to use on their album. Soon after, however, the band felt they were not ready yet, and postponed the idea for their next record. The record they were working on still received the name of the play, [[Gutter Ballet]], and one of the tracks from the play was also recorded for Gutter Ballet, namely "When the Crowds Are Gone". The band then decided that their next album would be based on the play, and the band entered the studio to record what would become Streets. After the Gutter Ballet tour however, rhythm guitarist Chris Caffery left the band on friendly terms to rejoin his brother's band, where he could play lead guitar instead of rhythm guitar. He would later rejoin Savatage in 1995 for the recording of Dead Winter Dead and has remained a member ever since. The album was originally due to be a double CD record, but record label Atlantic Records lost reels of the sessions in their vaults. These "lost tracks" were re-written over the years and eventually formed parts of songs on Edge of Thorns and later works. The album as a double CD as originally intended will never see the light, partly because the only recordings that remain are on audio cassette of the master tapes, and partly because most of the original ideas for the songs were used in later works. Originally the album would contain more spoken tracks than the one used for the introduction for Jesus Saves (which was a reworking of DT Jesus after Atlantic did not like the original version, and was recorded with only Jon and Criss in the studio, much like Gutter Ballet). However, a 31-track narrated version of the album was released by EarMusic Records on September 27 2013.

READ THIS FIRST!

1) Everyone deserves respect, so please make sure to show it. Remember the golden rule we were taught as kids? "Treat others the way you want to be treated"? That applies here.

2) This is a no word count roleplay. However, there will be no one liners, and most of all, you are expected to know proper punctuation and grammar.

3) Bullying will not be tolerated here, nor will unneeded drama. If you have problems with another member of the site, please contact one of the staff and we will give them a warning. If it continues, we will not hesitate to ban them.

4) The site's rating is PG-13, which means there will be mild swearing, but if anything goes past the rating, please fade to black.

5) No advertising or spamming on the cbox! It is for interactions only, so please, follow this rule at all costs.

6) Create an account by using your character's full name! Be sure to have the first and last name in all caps! Please and thank you!

7) Meta Gaming, Power Playing and God Modding is not allowed nor tolerated here! It's annoying, irritating, and frustrating. Just don't do it.

8) You can create an unlimited amount of characters, but please make sure you stay as active as you can! We all have a life outside of the roleplaying world, and that's totally understandable! If you have urgent life business and need to be away for a certain amount of time, please post in the absence thread!

9) Last but certainly not least, we want everyone to have fun! Do not hesitate to ask questions if you do not understand anything, and we will answer to the best of our abilities!
