history
No one really knows how old Dark is. He was born many decades ago in a time when everyone had to hunt or grow. Their own food. He wasn't born in Selphia, but instead in a far off land that had problems with monsters of their own. He was always helpful to everyone and was having a good life. His parental guardians wanted him to get married though, so they set up and arranged marriage for him. He loved the woman he was going to end up marrying, but she did not return his feelings. She told him that she did not return his feelings. Distraught, he just ran away.
After he ran away, everyone searched for him for weeks but no one could find him. It was probably because he kept moving from place to place, so he wouldn't be discovered. Eventually, any sign that he had even existed sermed to disappear. Decades later a huge bird monster just appeared in Yokmir Cave, many adventuers tried to come and drive it off, but they all failed.
Finally, an adventuer was able to beat the bird monster. When the bird monster was beaten, the monster disappeared and in its place a man appeared. The adventuer decided the best thing to do would be to take him to the clinic, so the adventuer took him to the clinic. He stayed in the clinic for about a week, before he woke up. He still remembered things from his past, but during his time as a monster a lot had changed. The amount of stuff that had changed, was surprising to him, but he knew he would eventually get use to the way things had changed.
Despite the fact that he had been turned back into a human, he still had some signs to show that he had once been a monster. The one thing that marks him as once having been a monster, is huge black bird wings that pretrude from his back. Since it is kind of a hassle, he doesn't do anything to try and hide his wings. And since he likes Selphia, he decided to stay and make a living in Selphia.
