Welcome to the Ghast's Forest!

The Ghast is a particularly strong and unusual ghost-type monster that haunts the Yokmir Forest. Initially spotted by an herbalist, the spirit only seemed to observe the villagers from a distance before vanishing mysteriously the moment they blinked. Then one day, after the adventurer the town had sent returned gravely injured, the Ghast began to attack any villagers that lingered in the forest too long, particularly at night. The forest around old Jasper's Yokmir Cottage began to change as well- the cottage mysteriously began to rebuild itself as the trees around it began to twist and coil into ghastly grey versions of their former selves. The creatures that lived around it became increasing violent and spirits, ghosts, and spiders have appeared in the area.

Not all encounters with the Ghast are violent however. The creature seems to take peculiar liking to half-monsters and those who show unusual kindness or playfulness. One of the known ways to distract it is to challenge it to a game, though don't expect a friendly reunion if you don't finish it. It has also been known to occasionally help both monsters and villagers alike who get themselves stuck in the brambles of the woods or manage to fall into a hole they cannot climb out of.

Adventurer: Character details open. This/These character(s) would be the one(s) who was sent to investigate old man jasper's disappearance (found dead) and later sent to investigate the Ghast (who attacked you).
Herbalist: Details open for change (Including "Herbalist" title) The character that initially spotted the Ghast. Though they were initially scared, they'd have been the first to become curious about the Ghast and experiment with their meetings.
