 | FEMALE - EIGHTEEN - DEMISEXUAL - APOTHECARY - HALF-MONSTER - SHADOW PANTHER ABOUT ME âž³ Employee of the Magic and Potion Shop, AKA: apothecary, the resident shadow panther who hides her monster self, and the near-adult teen who still thinks she's a kid. Kalani is known for her strange reactions toward normal greetings and conversations as well as her more than 'unique' creation processes. She lives outside of town, much to her animal neighbors' horror; but it helps whenever she draws up some statistical notes and whatnot. | LIKESHIPS âž³ Anyone who is nice to her would probably already be considered a friend by her. BUT (there's always a 'but' somewhere), seeing as how Kalani doesn't live in town nor does she try to get close to others for fear of revealing her secret by accident, she doesn't have very many - if any, close friends. Still she's pleasant to be around if not down right hilarious with her less-than-conventional antics. Still the girl sometimes forgets that she isn't supposed to be close to others so she ends up being all 'cuddly-demon-panther' anyway. | HATESHIPS âž³ Rawr! Animal instinct demands that this girl has her own turf and that just so happens to be her home where she sleeps and where she works. While she is pleasant for the most part, this girl has absolutely no mercy toward those who are rude or otherwise harmful to 'her spaces' or those who she works with. So yes, she will be very cautious around strangers. Of course she does have things she hates right off the bat. Like slimes. Those things are just plain nasty... and gooey. Ew no. | LOVESHIPS âž³ Hah love. You mean like sibling love right? Wait, you didn't...? Oh dear. Well good luck. While Kalani can make friends with relative ease this girl is a blank page when it comes to anything romantic. She'd probably eat the rose an admirer would bring to her. Right in front of him/her at that. She just doesn't understand it. Still it might be amusing to see someone try. |

Kalani and Gideon should meet. c: I don't know how well they would get along, but they should definitely meet. I think it would be pretty great if Kal just happened to first meet Gideon by chance while he's in his Chipsqueek form, scurrying through town as his angry little self. Why would he be in his Chipsqueek form? Who knows, maybe someone got him too flustered and he couldn't keep it together. If he passed by her in that form, he'd probably realize that she didn't smell human and pause to check her out because curiosity. Unfortunately, even as a Chipsqueek, he doesn't have the best instincts to help him realize that he would be casually sniffing at a predator. xD

They would probably end up hating each other or at least in one of those feline vs rodent rivalries if they were to talk to each other in human form. But then half-monsters can understand monster language... oh who knows. She'll just think he's an angry chipsqueak who lost his nuts. XD
But yes we should do that. Get them interactions going so Kal can offer him a nut or piece of antidote grass 'cuz why not.
"Here have a nut."
"How dare you-"
"Take the nut."
Ends up shoving a gift box full of nuts in his face. It shall be magnificent.

A feline/rodent rivalry would be the most amazing thing. xD And yes. Gideon would end up accepting the box of nuts, only to angrily devour them later in the day, muttering to himself about stereotypes and bribery. Then he'd enjoy it so much that he ends up trying to keep the fact that he's not actually just a Chipsqueek secret so that he can occasionally bother her in that form for a chance at more nuts. Then someone else would see them together with him pretending to be a normal rodent and be like 'Gideon, what are you doing' and he'd just angrily squeak at them and run off with a few nuts.

That would be hilarious. Kal would carry around nuts just for him if that were case. And knowing Kal, if someone were to point out the 'Chipsqueak's' name she'd just be like "Giddeen? Gidon. Giddy!" And give him some ridiculous name he'd have to suffer each time he met her. Oh goodness... if he were to spin a story about being a 'magical chipsqueak' she would completely believe him. Oh my poor, stupid demon cat...

Kalani Solruncircus duo or nothing, i tell you. or they knit scarves together as little monsters or something. but half-monster buddies ~ although, they're both keeping it secrets. they both have lyla as their pseudo-mama mutual acquaintance/friend and yuling is a frequent customer at the shop, so i think they would at the very least, know of each other's existence. they're both kind of vibrant and childish, so they'll either quarrel like children or be friends. anyway, add/subtract as you see fit! - w- ;;

That sounds like everything they could do together you forgot the fire pants though heh. I know since Yuling is pretty friendly, Kal would treat her like a sister and try and drag her everywhere with her. Doesn't help that they both depend on mama Lyla. XD Pretty sure Kal would give her medicinal plants as presents too... They would be in the 'scary monster' brigade I just realized. Who needs cute?! Pfft.
PS. They should totally meet as both monsters and humans just for the giggles and the awkward stares.

which one of them wears pants to be set on fire. let's do it. maybe they can get into all sorts of trouble and shenanigans... then get scolded by mama lyla. B) ;; they can shower each other in presents and drag each other everywhere and be the leaders of the scary monster brigade. the chipsqueek cute enough for the both of them. pffttt. also, yuling will probably be super curious of the apothecary job because wow, mixing potions. "can i add this or will it blow up." or "can i eat this or will i die. i'm gonna eat it anyway."
yessss. meeting together as monsters then as humans would be fun. B)

Yuling is a ghost so fire should hurt her *logic*. Trouble, they'd probably do crazy antics -mostly thought up by Kal- and be the main reason why they aren't allowed to bring potions outside. As for that Chipsqueak ohohoho- Yuling is going to get caught in the middle of the feline vs rodent turf war. At least human-wise. But don't drink the potions. No. Seriously. Your hair will fall out... or turn spinach green. That color only works with merfolk. And spinach.
Which kind of meeting do you want first? Human or beasty? Also where is be nice too.

sound logic to me. i'm totally okay with her getting set on fire, i'm not even joking. yuling will just happily follow along and maybe drag kal to ruins and places to explore, too, in return. they can meet the dragon in the revival cave or go in the obsidian mansion (ghost relatives) or something. idk, just monster hunting/adventures seems fun. ; w; that feline/rodent rivalry is gonna be tons of fun, she'll just be at the sidelines like WHY CAN'T WE ALL BE FRIENDS and try to blend into the background like the non-confrontational ghost she is.
i don't really have any preferences, both sound good. ;; (awkwardly will defer to you)

Awkward deferences ahoy!
Monster adventures in the depths of the ruins that the sane don't go to. Sounds like a plan. I'm sure they've always wanted to meet Skeletor Dragon. Set Yuling on fire and throw her at it. XD And you know Yuling is going to get dragged into it all by Kal. The side-war shall be real. Very, very real. Complete with stink bomb potions. Hopefully Lyla doesn't find out. But yes they should meet in some sort of ruin or at least agree to go to a ruin-y place. Revival Cave has plants at the very end so that's more legit than the Water Ruins. Also, Mamadoodles are mean.
